Taylor McInturf

HEY SISTERS!!!!!! 

My name is Taylor McInturf and I am a freshman kinesiology major.  My life dream would be to become a physical therapists someday!! Hopefully work for a pro team or in a children's hospital.  I am from Ada, Ohio. I very very small town in northwest Ohio. I played volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school so if you ever need an extra player for something, hit me up! :) I love to travel! I am going to France this summer and absolutely cannot wait!!!  I was also very involved with our schools show choirs, choirs and drama club.  I LOVE to have fun and I am VERY VERY social. I could stay up for hours and hours talking. umm..I pretty much eat all the time. FOOD is my best friend! :) :) I am SOO EXCITED to be a phi mu! Perfect fit because I also LOVE the color pink!!! :)  ( I know sounds corny! haha) I have three older brothers and no sisters, but a cute little miniature dachshund name Gizmo.  I can't wait to meet all of you and officially call you my sisters!! :) YAYYY!!!!!

Sara Rubesa

Hi ladies! I'm Sara Rubesa and I'm a freshman. I'm in the business school as a Marketing Major. I'm from Poland, Ohio. It's a suburb of Youngstown, Ohio right in between Cleveland and Pittsburgh. I am the middle child and have an older brother who is 21 and a younger sister who is 15. I also have a half sister who is seven and another half sibling on the way. I absolutely love baking and doing crafts! I am a huge procrastinator and sit on pinterest looking at things all the time. I did swimming and cheerleading in high school. I did both for 12 years. The beach is my favorite place on earth, if I could spending every day there I would. My friends are so important to me and I couldn't imagine my life without them. My best friend Danielle from home is actually in this picture below on the right side! I love traveling and want to study abroad, hopefully go to Luxembourg junior year. I am a big twilight fan but other than that I'm not a big reader. Watching movies is one of my favorite things to do. Comedies are my absolute favorite movies. I like to go out and have a good time but I'm mostly a weekend partier. I also love music, I'm a huge mumford and sons and Avett Brothers fan. Also I love Taylor Swift. Country music is my favorite but I really enjoy all types of music. Well I hope this helps you get to know me a little better. Can't wait to spend the next four years in Phi Mu with you all!!! SO EXCITED FOR MY NEW SISTERS :) <3 

Caroline Farina

Hey Beautiful Girls of Phi Mu! My name's Caroline Farina and I'm from Larchmont, New York (right outside NYC)! Right now I'm a pre-journalism major but I'm looking more into english creative writing. I am so excited to be a new member of Phi Mu and I can't wait to get to know all of my new sisters better!


Some of my favorite things:
- I love to eat, hit me up anytime for a lunch or dinner date!
- I sing and am in Choraliers, the women's choir on campus
- I love musical theatre, and did theatre in high school
- I love love love Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj (I can and will belt her out at any given time)
- I'm very close with my parents and my little sister, Christin, and talk to them daily
- I have been sailing for 10 years and have been a sailing instructor for 3

Hey everyone!! My name is Lauren Shafer and I am a Marketing major from Cincinnati. Here are a few interesting facts about myself:


-I have an unhealthy obsession with Ellen DeGeneres. I schedule my classes around 4:00 every day so I have time to watch her show
-When I'm not watching Ellen, I'm watching One Tree Hill
-John Mayer is the love of my life
-I LOVE to go to country concerts during the summer
-I could live off of mashed potatoes, ice cream, and anything with chocolate in it
-I'm so excited to be a new Phi Mu baby and I can't wait to meet you all!!

Ali Hamas

Hey everyone!! My name is Ali Hamas (pronounced hey-miss haha) and I am from a small town called Sugar Grove, Illinois.  I am a Psychology major with maybe soon a Spanish minor.  I work at Harris/La Mia so come visit and eat there :)  I also play on the club softball team at Miami!! I've played softball since I was 5 and I love it!!  I love to watch/play sports and I am very competitive and cannot wait for Greek Week! Stumble upon, pinterest, and postsecret are my biggest distractions when I don't want to do homework haha!  I love to hang out, watch movies, and have fun!

This picture is from my spring break trip to Peru! I can probably talk about it for hours on end and I have a TON of pictures!  I definitely want to go back and visit sometime again soon!

FUN FACTS:

-I have a dog named Rufus, he's a german shepherd/shar pei mix that we got from a shelter.

-I went to an all-girls catholic high school.

-Me and my mom are very close and I talk to her everyday.

-I can't wait to be an initiated member of Phi Mu!! :)

Michelle Steinberg

Hiiii sisters! I'm Michelle Steinberg and I'm a secondary education major with a focus in mathematics. I'm from Deerfield, Illinois (it sounds like it would be in the complete middle of nowhere, but it's pretty close to Chicago).


Some random facts about me are:

• I watch waaaaay too much TV for my own good. Favorites are 24, parks and recreation, modern family, and new girl.
• I danced  starting at age 2 1/2 up until I graduated from high school. I hurt my foot so I haven't been able to dance at all in college, but I am SO excited for POTH!
• I'm OBSESSED with music and I've been to 40+ concerts. So if you ever need a concert buddy, I'm the one to ask! :)
• Completely random, but I can touch my tongue to my nose.

I can't wait to meet everyone! So far Phi Mu has been absolutely amazing!

Lindsey Sukeena

Hey ladies, my name is Lindsey Sukeena, you can call me linds if you really want to. I am from the Cleveland area (East side) of Ohio. I have a younger sister, whom i am very close with, and i have a variety of pets! I am an Education major, specifically, High School English, and i am minoring in Special Education. I am a very outgoing person, and i love love love to make new friends and try new things! My favorite color is pink, and i am obsessed with the movie Legally Blonde. I have a girl crush on Mila Kunis, and i love to read books, and Cosmo. I used to play volleyball in high school, and i was also in mock trial. I am currently a student senator here at Miami, and i hope climb the ranks in ASG.
